The Ride the Ridge Race is working to raise awareness and donations for the World Bicycle Relief. The WBR is an organization dedicated to providing access to independence and livelihood through the power of bicycles. The World Bicycle Relief has three projects (spanning several countries) that are focused on supporting disaster relief and healthcare mobilization.
"Ride the Ridge" is in it's fourth year and is hosted and managed by a core group of Junior Mountain Bikers at the School. They have a tough network of fun and challenging trails. Roots, rocks and elevation changes that you would expect from a course nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The School will provide access to water, restrooms and snacks.
We hope for a large turnout in the Junior Division. The Blue Ridge School is located about 30 minutes north of Charlottesville and about 2 hours south of D.C.
