In another nailbiter in which Blue Ridge never had the lead until midway through the first of two overtimes, the Barons showed championship mettle in once again poking a nose in front at the wire to top the Miller Mavericks 78-77 in double OT. Corbyn Jackson hit the game winning shot with 12 seconds left as the Ridge defense stiffened and forced Miller into a desperate last second shot that banged off the backboard. At last everyone could exhale, and the win completed a 4 game season-sweep of an extremely talented Miller team, with only seven points seperating the teams in the aggregate score. Blue Ridge school takes its 20-6 record to Virginia State University Friday evening where it will face the #1 seed Paul VI in the VISAA final four. Tip-off is set for 7:00. Congratulations to Coach Ramsey and the team for their awesome achievement and best of luck at VSU!!
