Tough economic times and escalating tuition rates have made a quality, independent education an option for fewer and fewer people. In an attempt to allow a quality private school education to remain accessible to everyone in this economic climate, Blue Ridge School has developed the BRS Affordability Plan to help. Our plan features the following:
Financial aid programs targeted at middle income families. Over the past 2 years, we have increased our financial aid budget by 30% to incorporate these new programs, enabling more families to pursue a private boarding school education.
Tuition Lock Program: By paying by August 1st of the school year, the tuition for subsequent school year is locked in at the current rate. In effect, you could end up paying the same tuition for your son’s senior year as you did when he was a freshman.
Transparency: There are no hidden fees. Our tuition is inclusive of all academic and residential programs, room & board and textbooks. Know the total cost, allows you to budget for your son’s education with confidence.
Flexible payment options: We offer a monthly tuition payment option at no extra cost to you.
These initiatives, enabled by the money raised through our Annual Fund and other fundraising efforts, are designed to allow more families to consider a college-preparatory education for their sons.
