It is a wonderful coincidence that a 100 year old school commissioned a photographer who uses 100 year old camera system to create a collection printed by a 100 year old printing company – Charlottesville Press who used a century old printing process.  Blue Ridge School commissioned photographer Eduardo Galliani to create a unique portfolio-book presentation to celebrate its centennial year.   

Galliani is among the few photographers still using large format cameras and sheet film. Printing the portfolio-book required knowledge of technology long out of fashion.  The process is painstakingly slow, but yields remarkable work. 

  The limited edition "A Place to Treasure" Collection Book includes six prints of Blue Ridge School images and introduction by the school's beloved and long standing English teacher Mr. John B Young.  

Only 1,000 portfolio-books were printed and each is numbered by the artist.  The bound collection comes in a beautiful gray linen box with navy blue leather inlay that is perfect for displaying. View all prints.  Price is $250.00

 The limited Artist's Proof Collection is the first 30 books printed.  Being the first off the press, these prints have amazing picture quality and hold value as collector items.  In addition, each image in the book is signed by the artist.  When purchasing an Artist's Proof Collection Book, you will receive a 11 x 14" print of your choice.  Price is $1,000.00
