Learning Model
While cherishing the concept of academic freedom for our private school and our faculty, we also appreciate the need for a central theme that crosses all disiplines. We use our Learning Model as this theme to unify classes. Our Learning Model are based heavily on the following:
- Our curricular design based on the work of Wiggins and McTighe as presented in Understanding By Design (1998)
- Our adherence to the principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools,
- Our approach to scheduling derived from the work of Shortt and Thayer as presented in The Complete Handbook of Block Scheduling (1999).
