Learning Model

While cherishing the concept of academic freedom for our private school and our faculty, we also appreciate the need for a central theme that crosses all disiplines. We use our Learning Model as this theme to unify classes. Our Learning Model are based heavily on the following:

Our curricular design based on the work of Wiggins and McTighe as presented in Understanding By Design (1998)

Our adherence to the principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools,

Our approach to scheduling derived from the work of Shortt and Thayer as presented in The Complete Handbook of Block Scheduling (1999).
