Thank you for considering Blue Ridge School! Admission to our all-boys, all-boarding school is determined on the basis of character, potential, and previous academic record. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis. To make your interest in Blue Ridge School official, follow the five-step admission process below.

Step 1: Schedule a Tour
The best way to understand Blue Ridge School is to schedule a tour and live like a Baron for a day. Walk our halls, hike our campus, taste our food, and meet our students and faculty. While here, boys can complete their admissions interview (see Step 4).
Step 2: Apply Online
We’ve made applying to the Blue Ridge School simple by utilizing checklist system that guides you through submitting everything we might need to assess your student’s candidacy. This portal will also serve as your center for notifications on acceptance and where you’ll find your contract.
If this is your first time logging in you will need to set your password. Click the link below and follow the instructions. If you have already set up your login credentials then you can continue your application by following the other link.
The application requires a processing fee payable by credit card: $50 online for domestic applicants and $100 online for international applicants.

Step 4: Submit Testing
If current (within two years) educational/psychological or other diagnostic testing related to the applicant’s aptitude or achievement is available, please forward copies to the Office of Admissions. Blue Ridge School may require testing before considering an application.
Second language applicants are required to submit official iTEP SLATE, SSAT, TOEFL Junior or TOEFL and the Duolingo English Test scores.
