Topic #5: "Misconceptions About Boarding School"

There are probably some stereotypes that come to mind when you think of “boarding school” because of pop culture, but many of them are false. “It’s only for rich kids” – not true. “It’s for bad kids who are out of control” – incorrect. “I’m sending my son away” – not the case. Hear from our admissions counselors, current students, and parents on their experience attending the Blue Ridge School.

This Virtual Coffee Chat will explore all these misconceptions, discuss how differences from day schools actually provide advantages, and answer any questions the attending families might have. This will undoubtedly prove to be a valuable learning experience and you can join other families just like you who are finding the best school for their son.

"They were lost in the system and the system allowed them to be lost. Blue Ridge is helping them in a way that I as a parent and the public school just couldn't. How do you put a price on that? "
