At Blue Ridge, educating our students is a team effort. As such, we greatly value our relationship with each boys’ parents and family, and hope to communicate closely and well in a variety of ways.
An active Parent Council leads the efforts of the BRS Parent Association. The Council brings together parents from all over America and the world who combine to raise funds and provide activities that directly benefit the boys on campus each year.
Parent Council members welcome your questions and ideas anytime. The Council meets monthly with Headmaster Trip Darrin, Associate Headmaster Franklin Daniels and other members of the BRS team, and they stand ready to assist.
Parent RENWEB Access
RenWeb will have your son’s class schedule and information, as well as grades and teacher comments. Documents and forms are available under Parent Resources on the left or click here for RENWEB Access.
Stay connected with what’s happening on a daily, sometimes hourly basis with our social media links.
The School’s Facebook page posts news, photos and videos daily. It offers a private parent Facebook page which is a great source of information that gives parents an opportunity to connect with other parents, ask for advice, post comments and pose questions that will be answered by other parents, administrators and staff. Any member can invite a new parent! We will send out an invitation to join this helpful group to all new parents. There are also pages for varsity: football, basketball and lacrosse as well as a page for the Cooking Club.
This is the best way to know what is happening throughout the day. Follow us on Twitter to see the day-to-day activities at BRS!
Watch videos of your son in action – in class, on the stage and on the field or outdoors. Throughout the week we post a number of videos so you’re not missing a thing!
Many school events, activities, performances, sporting events, and more are uploaded to our SmugMug gallery. You may download high-resolution images for free. You may also order prints that will be shipped directly to you.

The Groves Family Legacy Tuition Program honors Robert W. “Bobby” Groves III ’67 and his family. Bobby and his wife Anne were the first alumni parents to enroll a child at BRS. Their son Billy graduated in 1995 and their nephews Johnson and Robert Stevens were equally successful here, graduating in 2003 and 2006, respectively.
Blue Ridge is incredibly proud of this legacy and for the sterling example that Bobby and his family have set.
