It is so easy to get caught up in life’s business. As parents and children get involved in so many different activities, the first thing to suffer is family time.
Studies have shown that a father’s active participation and emotional engagement with his son leads to improved social, emotional, academic and behavioral outcomes. The Father-Son Weekend Retreat at Blue Ridge School was developed to provide this intentional time for families and assist in the development of the next generation. Here at BRS, we specialize in boys’ education…in the classroom, on the playing fields and preparing them for college. Spend a weekend enjoying what we have to offer and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Who: Boys ages 6-15(2nd-5th grade) and their fathers/grandfathers

Make Campus Your Playground
At the Father-Son Weekend Retreat at Blue Ridge School, Enjoy BRS’s 700+ acres and all the activities you can think of. Our campus in the blue ridge mountains features 20 miles of mountain bike and hiking trails, swimming pool, driving range, athletic complex and 3 lakes full of fish and opportunity. With so many options to choose from, there will always be the opportunity to jump in where your son is most passionate. At the same time, there will be plenty of chances to try something new and develop new hobbies and passions for the future.
Nightly Activities
After a long day of activity on campus, relax and enjoy some downtime with your son. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down! Make s’mores at the campfire, enjoy an outdoor movie lakeside, or just head to the student center for some ping pong and foosball.
