Angela Jackson-Mapetla is the Director of Admissions and International Student Coordinator at Blue Ridge School. She brings a global perspective shaped by nine years in East Africa, where she served as a missionary with DOORS Ministries and at Heritage International School in Uganda. She also worked in Kenya as Prep School Admissions/Registrar at St Andrew’s, Turi.

Angela’s career in education spans from elementary to university-level students. Before her international work, she served in higher education as Associate Director of Residential and Commuter Programs and as an Academic Advisor at Longwood University.

Beyond her professional roles, Angela enjoys singing, fashion design and styling, and is an active member of Toastmasters International. She is passionate about building relationships, fostering diverse learning environments, and creating opportunities that leave a lasting impact.
