Georgia serves as a learning specialist in the Fishburne Learning Center, where she applies her expertise in special education and reading intervention. She received a B.S.Ed in Special Education and an M.Ed in Reading Education from UVA. Before joining Blue Ridge, Georgia worked with students with autism in grades K-12 and developed effective reading intervention programs. As a passionate advocate for literacy, she strives to share her love of stories with students. Outside of the classroom, Georgia enjoys spending time with her family and two terriers.
