Empowering Young Men Through Your Support
Make Your Gift Your Way
There are many ways to support Blue Ridge School, depending on what needs interest you most and the ways you prefer to give.
Financial gifts to Blue Ridge School are vital to everything we do. Each contribution directly supports our students, faculty, and programs, strengthening the transformative experience that defines a Blue Ridge education. We deeply value the generosity of our donors. Your support sustains our mission and helps ensure Blue Ridge School continues to thrive for generations to come.
The Baron Fund
The Baron Fund is Blue Ridge School’s yearly fundraising campaign supporting all operations on campus.
Contributions are tax deductible and support everything from faculty salaries and new curricular initiatives to athletics and clubs. Every dollar given is stewarded with care to ensure all students receive the very best multi-dimensional education possible. The Baron Fund is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts, and each and every student benefits from our donors’ commitment to this key annual initiative.
WAGTOB
We Always Give to Our Barons
We’re excited to introduce a new giving society, WAGTOB—We Always Give to Our Barons—created to supercharge support for Blue Ridge School athletics. This recurring giving society is dedicated to building pride, loyalty, and momentum among alumni who believe in the power of Baron athletics. By joining WAGTOB, you’ll be part of a community that provides a predictable and consistent source of funding, which is essential for the long-term success of our athletic programs and our student-athletes. Check out the video to learn more about this exciting movement.
Endowments & Capital Gifts
The longterm health and growth of Blue Ridge School depends on the continued support of capital projects such as the John B. Young IV Library, new athletic facilities, and dorm improvements. Likewise, additions to the School’s endowment will ensure the longevity of our fundamental programs
The Saint George Society
Planned gifts include a wide variety of funding vehicles such as making a life-income gift, transferring assets such as stocks and bonds, or using retirement benefits to support Blue Ridge School. The St. George Society may allow you to give more than you ever thought possible.
Corporate Matching
Many companies match employee donations, doubling or even tripling your gift to Blue Ridge School. To check if your employer participates, ask your HR department if they have a matching gift program and request the necessary forms or portal link. Be sure to mention that Blue Ridge School is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. A quick email or conversation could significantly increase your impact on our students, faculty, and programs.
Gifts In Kind
These gifts may include real estate, personal property, equipment, and other in-kind contributions, each of which plays a vital role in strengthening our community, enhancing opportunities for our students, and ensuring that the mission of the school continues to thrive for generations to come.

Blue Ridge School has checked every box a parent could desire. BRS has a diversity in both the teaching staff and in the student body. It has a remarkably low student to teacher ratio, which is realized in most classes and translates into outstanding academic experiences. It has the philosophy and resources to effectively engage and direct boys.”
BRS Parent
Blue Ridge School has completely changed my life. It is by far one of the best schools in Virginia and nationwide. Our culture and diversity is unmatched to that of any other boarding school in the country. It is truly a home to me and all of my classmates, we are truly one big family. That is why we here at Blue Ridge school call ourselves Baron Brothers.”
BRS Sophomore
Both of my sons attended the Blue Ridge School. We sent them two boys and they sent us back men. They graduated from great universities, are married and have settled into great careers. We have many fond memories and cannot recommend the school highly enough.”
BRS Parent
I attended Blue Ridge in 1985, 1986 and graduated in 1987. I was a summer school counselor in 1988. It’s like home to me and the best thing that happened to me at that time. It made me who I am today and I made life long friends. The school is exceptional and anyone who is able to attend is truly blessed.”
BRS Alumni
My time at Blue Ridge School has been unforgettable. The outdoor adventures, from hiking scenic trails to bonding with my Baron brothers, have shaped my experience. Exploring the mountains, running the trails, and enjoying the fresh air has given me a deep appreciation for nature.”
BRS Junior
The sense of brotherhood here is incredible, whether through late-night talks, shared challenges, or intense games of football and golf. The thrill of competition, the hard work at practice, and the celebrations after victories have all been unforgettable. Sports taught me teamwork, resilience, and discipline, helping me grow both on and off the field.”
BRS Senior
Blue Ridge is more than a school—it’s a second home, a place where friendships, lessons, and memories will last a lifetime.”
