Delivering Sports to Our Baron Fans
One of the truly fun and unique parts of our athletic program is the Baron Sports Network (BSN). Through classwork and hands-on training, boys learn to be sports journalists, writing about and reporting on Baron home games. Game-specific broadcasts include play-by-play announcing and color commentary. There are also highlight videos with interviews, podcasts, and print stories covering sports from various angles. Everything is researched and produced by the boys, giving them hands-on experience in the field, stronger writing skills, and facility with public speaking. While the learning is serious, the application of that learning ignites the boys’ creative spirits and the results are often highly entertaining.
