We emphasize lightning quick transitions. Coach Moss’s philosophy “Play Fast” means to make the transition between defense and offense quick and aggressive. Because we study and practice the ability to push transitions, we know how to limit transition from the opposing team. We want to own possession time, play selfless offense and stingy whole-team defense.
Our locker room culture is second to none. We hold each other accountable in all that we do and strive to uphold the BRS mission within the lacrosse program. Philosophically, we believe in sending our players off into the world as more developed athletes and more developed young men.
Living on campus with the boys, we are able hold them to a high standard, encouraging and enabling them to embody the principles and values that Blue Ridge School is proud to uphold.
